Founded in 1962 by Ernie Keller, Keller Construction Ltd. (Keller) was built on a simple but enduring belief: there’s always a better way to build. One of the company’s earliest team members, Wayne Cameron, quickly saw Keller’s potential and played a key role in shaping its future, eventually becoming owner. Today, that legacy continues under the leadership of his son, John Cameron, Keller’s Chairman.
Keller provides comprehensive design and contracting services across a diverse range of projects, including new builds and tenant improvements in the Commercial, Infrastructure, Housing (seniors, multi-family, affordable, and transition), and Retail–Petroleum sectors. This breadth of experience allows the team to deliver tailored solutions while maintaining consistently high standards across every project type.
Over more than six decades, Keller has grown into a full-service construction firm with a team of more than 160 employees serving clients throughout Western Canada. Despite that growth, the company’s focus has remained the same: Change Experience. Keller does this by anticipating challenges, finding creative solutions, and keeping clients informed and engaged at every stage of the construction process. The result is a collaborative, transparent approach built on trust, quality workmanship, and a deep respect for the client experience.

In 2009, John Cameron founded the John Cameron Changing Lives Foundation, driven by a personal commitment to advancing mental health awareness and improving access to support. The Foundation hosts well-known fundraising events such as the Singing Christmas Tree and CRESCENDO concerts in Edmonton and Calgary—powerful performances that blend local talent, inspiring music, and stories of resilience and hope. Funds raised support mental health research, organizations, and programming, with a growing focus on adolescent mental health. In recognition of its impact, the Foundation received the Momentum Mental Health Award for Community Organization in 2019.
