Reporting to the Director of Infrastructure the Construction Site Inspector is accountable to carry out the necessary inspections required for monitoring the construction items on multiple projects as indicated in the project documents, plans and specifications. This role also monitors the compliance to Provincial and Federal acts and regulations with respect to Health and Safety and Environment. The Construction Site Inspector will be responsible to liaise with Agency representatives and its consultants and shall report on site activities based on objectives determined by the Agency and its consultants. The Construction Site Inspector must develop relationships with, trades, contractors, consultants and other government departments, Nova Scotia Health Authority, while supporting operational requirements and program objectives, with a long-term vision for project success.
