Position and Responsibilities
In this position, you will be responsible for:
Performing predictive and preventative maintenance checks on a regular basis to ensure safe and reliable production
Performing welding work on structures and equipment to stated specifications
Troubleshooting structure and equipment failures and documenting and performing repairs
Education and Qualifications
Requirements of the position:
Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
Valid Saskatchewan or inter-provincial journeyperson welder ticket
At least five years of industrial experience as a journeyperson
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
Assets:
Structural Welding Certification in accordance with CWB Group
Pressure Piping Welding Certification in accordance with TSASK
Previous underground maintenance experience
SAP experience
