Blundon’s Trucking and Excavating Ltd. currently has an employment opportunity for Excavator/Grader Operators. We offer competitive wages as well as lodging benefits when required.

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
• Complete daily Pre-Trip inspections.
• Oversee condition of equipment and inspect tracks, lights, brakes, etc.
• Report any required or preventative maintenance to supervisor.
• Comply with applicable legislation including safe operation, carriage of goods, driver’s hours, occupational health and safety, etc.
• Clean equipment as scheduled and/or required.
• Submit daily paperwork.

Qualifications:
• Minimum Class 8 Drivers Licence.
• Clean drivers abstract.
• MUST have experience operating a grader and grading forestry type roads as well as experience operating excavators.
• Standard First Aid, CPR, and WHMIS training would be considered an asset.
• Heavy Equipment Operator training from a recognized program would be considered an asset.
• Able to work as part of a team in a physically demanding environment.
Location
• Millertown, NL

Schedule:
• 10/4 Rotation
• Hours of work will vary day-to-day
